Friends, I regret to tell you that yours truly is currently pretty broke. I’ve been diligently seeking work since moving to Columbus, but haven’t had much luck yet. So I’m reluctantly reaching out to you kind folks for a little help.
Above you can see some of my artwork from over the past five years. If you like what you see, maybe you’d consider having me draw something for you for $10-30, or however much you’d like to pay me? Price depends on the size and amount of time it takes. I’m down to draw most anything (but not drawings for your novel about your pedophilia fantasies- yes, someone DID ask me to do this once and I was not happy). A portrait of you/your best friend/someone famous/your pet, fliers, tattoo designs, something for your blog, etc. So long as you’ve got a few visual references or can clearly describe what you want, I’m in! I can also do nice quality color prints of “Everything Is Awesome”, “Babe Life”, “I Love Coffee” or the American War/Saint Seneca flier for $5-10.
The last image above is the cover of issue 20 of my zine, “Motor City Kitty.” I currently have limited copies of issues 16-21 available for $3-5 each, postage paid ($1 extra if you’re outside of the US would be helpful!) I’ll hand color the covers and send you a nice note if you order some! I write about things like going on a zine tour (issue 21), complicated relationships as a survivor of abuse/trying to live an ideal life (issue 20), my relationship with my paternal family/various forms of grief (issue 19), touring with friends/attending the first Slutwalk Cleveland (issue 18), being a feminist killjoy/DIY shows (issue 17) and more feminist killjoy stuff/how playing a Bikini Kill cover set gave me confidence in making music again (issue 16- bonus: it’s a split with “Culture Slut” #24!)
If you are interested in any or all of this please drop something in my ask box here on Tumblr or email me (missteenohio@gmail.com) for further details, especially if you wanna pay for anything via well-concealed cash through the mail. Random donations through Paypal can be made to the same email address and would be beyond kind (though I’d probably insist on sending you SOMETHING in return).
Lastly, if you could share with friends/your followers, I’d greatly appreciate it! Thanks everyone <3
Help my friend out! She drew a picture for me once and it was so AWESOME.
Reblogging for you daytime folks. If you can’t buy anything, please at least share/reblog! (Thank you to friends who did so already. And Jordan, I wish I had a good picture/scan of that drawing! It was way better than the postcard version and totally would’ve been part of this post.)

Title cards to the original nine Fleischer Studios Superman theatrical shorts. What’s great about these - which I couldn’t capture due to my deficient GIF animating technology - is that a number of them are themselves animated. The “magnetic” part of “The Magnetic Telescope” flickers like a neon sign, the “Terror on the Midway” spotlight moves, etc.
I’ve never understood why we’ve never seen the Mechanical Monsters again. Such great designs.
Absolutely beautiful.

My contribution for the Gallery 1988 “Is This Thing On? 2 Too” show. This time around, the theme was SNL so I had to do one of my favorite characters.
