i’ve never been able to explain why exactly it makes me feel so uncomfortable when dudes draw dicks everywhere, and i think the second gif asks what i’ve always wanted to but didn’t know it was what i wanted to ask, if that makes sense (“what does it say about society that men are so comfortable drawing the genitalia everywhere?”)
it also reminds of the other night. my friend katie and i were getting a ride home from the bar i work at from one of my coworkers. someone had traced a penis into the snow on the hood of his car. katie promptly drew a vagina and at first i was like “oh god, there goes katie, always making everything about dicks and vaginas” (as she’s known to vocalize and joke about these things, loudly, without shame). seeing this photo set made me go “holy shit, katie might have feminist points over me cuz she’s so much more comfortable with her bits, enough so to just nonchalantly trace a vagina into the snow on the hood of car of a guy she doesn’t even know.” i dunno if she’d ever look at it that way so much as she just likes sex/dicks/cunts, but i guess i see now it is kind of empowering to counteract all the male genitalia graffiti with some pussy power! #fuckyeahkatie.tumblr.com
